Baran

I think the movie Baran was a cute movie. Lateef finds out that the boy was actually a girl and falls in love with her. But what I want to know is why didn't he ever talk to her or approach her? He obviously loved her enough to give all his earnings to her family when they were in need. Why did he let her go to Afghanistan. Point is, I didnt like the ending.
